MAGIC BRANDING

Project Overview

The initial project was to add color to an existing logo for the Magic organization within Microsoft. After knowing more about the organization and their mission to incorporate all types of design such as research, content, visual, UX/UI designs to create the best solutions for users, I included the "design universe" to the Magic branding. All assets from PowerPoint templates, Figma organizational templates, workshop templates, banners, and stickers had a celestial motif.

The two organizations, Marvel and Global, merged to create Magic. The logo is a combination of the letters M and G. The task was to add Fluent colors to the logo that will maintain the depth of the logo even at small sizes for email signatures. Blue was used for Marvel, Pink was used for Global, and the purple, the blue and pink created was for Magic. The color palette was galaxy themed to embody the "design universe".

Banners were made for SharePoint and social media platforms. All design assets were in blue, white, and black to allow customizability since there were many teams within Magic.

Magic stickers and Microsoft Teams background were created as additional assets. Magic astronaut stickers were created for Magic Summer interns for them to be astronauts exploring Magic's "design universe". Teams backgrounds had floating planets and star dust for team members to appear floating in the "design universe".

Hybrid and remote workshops were branded in Figjam and Mural so participants could be immersed in Magic branding.
